XPIRED - LPC, LMFT & LCSW Clinical Supervision Training 2019

This training promotes a strengths-based perspective and provides clinicians theoretical, professional, legal, and ethical content related to excellence in clinical supervision, including: Virginia Licensing Board practice standards and regulations; supervision process, practice responsibilities, and “Use-of-Self” issues; theories and models of supervision for individual and group supervision; workplace ethics and multi-cultural considerations; supervision dynamics, leadership styles, isomorphic process; and life-long learning and professional responsibility.

This course meets the requirements established by the Virginia Board of Health Professions for LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs for certification or re-certification to provide clinical supervision for licensure.*

*In order to provide licensure supervision in Virginia, clinicians must have continuing education/training in clinical supervision. LCSWs need 14 supervision training hours every five years, while LPCs and LMFTs need 20 supervision training hours. All licensed clinicians need two hours of ethics training annually.
