Rooms for Commencement guests will be available for occupancy after 4 pm on Friday, May 10, 2019. Checkout time for guests is by 12 pm on Sunday, May 12, 2019.
Due to the large number of guests staying in the residence halls during this time, we cannot accommodate early arrivals or late departures. If you need to stay an extra day, you must make alternative housing arrangements.

All rooms include linen packets for each single bed. Linen packets include 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 1 pillow case, 1 blanket, 1 towel, 1 washcloth, 1 bath mat and 1 pillow. Each bedroom offers 2 single beds.
* Additional meals may be purchased at the door at Dalton Dining Hall. The dining hall accepts cash, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover.
All University buildings are smoke-free living environments.
Special Accomodation Requests
There is a section of the online application for individual requests. Examples might include a request for a first floor room or a room located near another party that will be registering for the event. We will do our best to accommodate all personal requests that are made. Please be sure to check the box on the application if you require lodging in a handicap room.
The buildings available for Commencement housing have accessible first floor rooms as well as elevator access to all floors. Service animals accompanying guests with disabilities are welcome in the residence halls. Please be sure to indicate the need for handicap accessible rooms when submitting your application so that we are able to accommodate the request. A limited number of wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. If a service animal will be with the guest, please list in the personal request section to assist with coordinating accommodations.
Pets, other than service animals, are not allowed in the residence halls or at Spring Commencement.
The online application accepts payment using MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. When submitting credit card information, please check to make sure credit card information for the entire amount owed accompanies the online application submitted; we will not be able to process your application without full payment. Please verify the expiration date and number on the credit card for accuracy.
Information on Residence Hall Accommodations
Please remember that the residence hall accommodations, although convenient, do not offer the amenities of a fully staffed hotel. Our staff will work very hard to make your rooms as comfortable and as clean as residence hall rooms can be. Because students will have just vacated the rooms, there will not be enough time to do minor repairs and maintenance. Keep in mind that we do not provide daily maid service. All of our rooms contain single (twin) beds. Residence hall will be conveniently located to both the Graduation Ceremony as well as Dalton Dining Hall and onsite parking.
Check-in location as well as parking information will be sent to guests when room assignments are made.
The application deadline is April 15th. Prices automatically increase by $15 after April 15th.
Changes to Application
You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your online application once it is submitted. If you need to make changes to the information you submitted, please contact our office by telephone (540-831-5800) or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Notification of Assignment
Housing assignments will be made by Tuesday, April 30th. Notification will be sent by email and will include housing assignment, parking information, directions, and any other important details regarding your stay at Radford University.
All cancellations must be made in writing. A refund will be made only if your written cancellation request is received by April 27, 2019. No refund will be offered if a reservation is cancelled after this date. Cancellation requests may be sent by email to email@example.com, by mail to Conference Services at Radford University, PO Box 6911, Radford, VA 24142 or by fax to (540) 831-6363. Cancellation requests will not be accepted over the telephone. Refunds will be mailed at the end of June. There is a $25 non-refundable fee for the cancellation of any reservation.
